We desire individuals who will play an active role in the continued development of our basic science program in St Vincent, and who have a strong commitment to educational excellence. Applicants must be qualified and highly-motivated individuals who are committed to medical education. The qualified individuals should possess an MBBD, M.D. or Ph.D. in their respective disciplines and should be aware of the US system of medical education. We will consider retired physicians who have a background in medical education and are committed to teaching. Successful candidates will be given a unique opportunity to play a major role in this rapidly growing university.

We have a wonderful group of hardworking, friendly and collegial faculty focused mainly on one task: training students to become top-notch physicians. Most faculty members live within a 10-minute drive of campus. As we provide for faculty traveling, a car is not an absolute requirement. The American University of St Vincent, School of Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Our remuneration package also includes health insurance. Financial assistance will be provided for relocation to the island of St. Vincent. The positions are available immediately.
